1950’s Vintage Royal Stafford Fine Bone China Tea Plate & Saucer – Pattern 8171 (Dainty Pansies) AntiqueRoyal Stafford China brand name has had many owners since it was first used by Thomas Poole c1900. but the production of fine bone china continued through to 1992 and is to this day still recognised in all corners of the globe for its commitment to enduring quality and beauty. The item is a tea plate and matching saucer decorated in the Royal Stafford pattern 8171, which depicts dainty hand painted pansy flowers and other small flowers on a crisp

On the other side it is marked Springbok Regstd Trade Mark and the sides has Net Weight when packaged 4 oz
The items are in the Marlborough design decorated in Simpsons Potters Chetwynd pattern
tan and dark green drip glaze pattern over a speckled bisque surface
The item is signed on the landscape side
Each of the items in the set are decorated with a red trim separating white base from a very light green band across the top

A beautiful unmarked fine porcelain salad serving set consisting of a fairly large salad bowl with wooden server spoon and fork

The pot has seen some use and there are two small dents on the lower part of the body (not really visible unless you look closely)
