SDS3329 Applique Placemat padsUse up your leftover scrap fabrics with this placemat design! The final placemat size is approximately 15" x 12. 5", depending on any added borders and binding. This design is quick and easy to stitch, and Ive included two methods for completing it: one where you precut all the fabric pieces and another where you cut the fabric in the hoop, just as you would for applique work. Two hoop sizes are included: 5" x 7" and 6" x 8".

But as said remember you can add blocks around it to make iteven bigger to suit your needs

8x12 = 16x24 Sum= 40" in total so you'll need a 40"x6" piece for your binding
