but the style of the wine did not thrill me

the 2017 Gigondas Le Coteau De Mon Rêve is an awesome wine based on 75% Grenache

Otherwise the aromas are classic En Remilly with plenty of citrus

The exceptionally rich, even suave, medium bodied flavors possess very good concentration, power and persistence on the mouth coating and sappy if somewhat sweet finish that I found borderline cloying. I suspect that this will become more interesting with age but for now, its not at the same level as the best of these grands crus.
